About Me
My name is Sarah Brandt and I have often admired the beauty of wine and spirit bottles and labels. When going to a café I would look up at the shelves and notice the different shapes and sizes of bottles and some were so unique that I needed to find a way to utilize them to create something with a new purpose.

At Peaceful Designs LLC, I pride myself on creating handmade designs that are both beautiful and functional. I have been cutting and upcycling bottles into something new for about 15 years. After some initial experimentation I now utilize a wet saw with a diamond blade to cut the bottles and a flat lap sander, as well as some hand sanding, to smooth the glass edges of my pieces. All of my items are handmade to include my soy wax candles, drinking glasses, shot glasses, wind chimes, lighting and barrel stave items from barrels I have broken down, drilled, sanded and stained. While I love creating new pieces from bottles I have discovered, I also derive immense satisfaction from creating custom pieces for clients who provide me a bottle that they cherish.
